I get to that point all the time where I just can’t execute a simple idea because the idea is expanding so rapidly in my brain that it quickly becomes this full blown idea that is no longer simple and it kills the productivity because I lose focus and have no idea where to start.
I seriously get so frustrated at myself sometimes and I just feel like yelling at myself saying “slow the fuck down and get the basics done, stop getting side track and focus on what you can do today and deal with the other hurdles later.”
Some of the best ideas never come to life because the simple tasks are over complicated and instead of letting an idea grow from 1-10 we get to stage 6 in our minds and are unable to execute. STOP. Stop skipping out on doing the simple things to get started. Your idea doesn’t have to be monetized from the start. Work towards your goals if it is an online venture.
Many of the success stories you hear of today the founder had no idea what they were doing at the start, but they grew with their idea and didn’t skip any steps and they learned what they needed to learn at each of the early stages.
Why am I writing this article? Because I need to keep reminding myself to just take the small steps it doesn’t need to be perfect and don’t over complicate anything that doesn’t need to be over complicated.
I am also really frustrated at myself for the highly unproductive weekend I’ve had just thinking about what needed to be done and taking no action.
Here to a more productive week.
